Tubu Tree is a magical place. Great birding, great animal sightings and great people. A young female leopard captured the young wildebeest but she couldn't kill it despite showing some awesome power. Her mother arrived 15 minutes after she caught the animal and quickly despatched it. The Rosy-throated Longclaw pic isn't great but it was a wonderful sighting.
What an amazing sighting you had of the young leopard trying to kill a wildebeest, it really is a case of being in the right place at the right time, and having a camera handy. Well done, it is a lovely record and I am very jealous that I wasn't there. So glad you loved Tubu Tree Camp.

I agree 100% regarding Tubu, Craig, what a great, intimate little camp. Those leopard-wildebeest shots are pretty unique!
